  • 500 g minced beef
  • 10 flour tortillas
  • 10 ml olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 250 g cheddar cheese, grated
  • fresh coriander
  • 10 g chipotle paste
  • 5 g oregano
  • 2 g ground cumin
  • 2 g ground coriander
  • 2 g smoked paprika
  • 1 g cayenne pepper
  • 1 gem lettuce
  • 100 ml sour cream


Heat the olive oil and butter in a pan. When the butter has melted, add the minced beef and cook until brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Add the onions to the same pan and cook until soft. Add the chopped garlic and chipotle paste and return the minced beef to the pan. Stir in the chopped fresh coriander and the spices and cook for a couple of minutes.

Heat the tortillas in a dry pan on a medium heat. Spoon the beef mixture into the tortillas, sprinkle grated cheese on top and wrap. You can place the burritos under the grill for a few minutes to melt the cheese.

Garnish with sour cream, spring onions and lettuce and serve immediately.
