How To Make Bircher Muesli With Pear And Berries

Step 1: You will need...
- 50 g rolled oats
- 50 g barley
- 180 ml pear juice
- 1 pear
- 60 g plain yoghurt
- 1 tbsp toasted almonds, chopped
- 40 g berries, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, or whatever is in season
- 1 bowl
- 1 spoon
- 1 grater
Step 2: Soak the oats
Into a bowl, add the barley and the rolled oats. Pour in the pear juice. Mix together and leave to soak overnight or for a minimum of one hour.
Step 3: Grate the pear
Turn the pear around as you grate it to avoid the core. Discard the core. Place the pear in a bowl.
Step 4: Mix the ingredients
Into the cereal, add the grated pear and the yoghurt. Mix together well.
Step 5: Serve
Spoon the muesli into a serving bowl. Add some of the fresh berries and top with roasted almonds.
