How To Make Blonde Brownies

Ingredients
- 1 cups (250ml) all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cups (120ml) walnuts, chopped
- 1/3 cups (75ml) butter, melted
- 1 cups (250ml) brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 vanilla extract
- 3 cups (750ml) white chocolate chips
Method
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking tin with greaseproof paper.
Place the brown sugar and melted butter in a mixer and mix together. Add a small amount of hot water. Add the egg, vanilla extract and slow the mixer down. Now add the flour, baking powder and baking soda, salt, walnuts and half of the chocolate pieces.
Once the mixture is fully combined, pour into the lined baking tin, smooth out evenly and sprinkle the remaining half of the chocolate chips on top. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes.
