Step 1: You will need

  • 4 ice cubes
  • 40 ml of brandy
  • 40 ml of crème de cacao
  • 40 ml of double cream
  • 1 sealable food bag
  • 1 cocktail shaker
  • 2 brandy glasses
  • 1 rolling pin

Step 2: Prepare the ice

Put the ice cubes into the sealable food bag and push them down to the bottom. Seal the bag or hold it together with your hand. Use the rolling pin to bash the ice cubes until they are broken up into small pieces.

Step 3: Mix the drink

Pour the brandy, cream and crème de cacao into the cocktail shaker. Put the sieve and then the top back on to the shaker. Make sure it is secure and give it a good shake.

Step 4: Serve

Take off the lid but leave the strainer on and pour the drink into the brandy glasses. Your Brandy Alexander is now ready to serve.
