So, we're going to put those in a food processor. They've just been coarsely chopped before they were toasted. We need a drop of oil, about a teaspoon.
I'm using peanut oil here and a little bit of sweetness, so a bit of icing sugar here. You could also use honey if you wanted to or maple syrup. I don't like it too sweet so I think that's enough.
I'm going to put that onto pulse. Okay, so we've ground the nuts down to a paste now. We're going to add a bit of salt for seasoning and if you are going to use the Brazil nut butter as a dip, you might want to add some spices as well, maybe a little bit of chilli powder, maybe some toasted cumin, so if you can just pinch some sea salt there and grind it again, and there we have our lovely smooth spreadable Brazil nut butter.
So, this makes a really fantastic breakfast on some home meal toast, maybe with some sliced banana on top, and that is how you make Brazil nut butter. .
