How To Make Broccoli, Leek, Carrot And Potato Cheese
Baby Food: How To Make Broccoli, Leek, Carrot And Potato Cheese. This vegetable puree is perfect baby food, great for weaning. Enjoy our simple baby food recipe from chef and author, Sian Blunos.
Step 1: Prepare
Peel and dice the carrots into even chunks. Cut the broccoli into florets and finely dice the leek.
Step 2: Cook
Boil the carrots for 12 minutes, fry the leek for 6 minutes and boil the broccoli for 5 minutes. Drain all the veg when it's cooked.
Step 3: Puree
Puree all the vegetables in a food processor, adding the cheese sauce a little at a time. Finally add the mashed potato and whizz briefly. Don't process the mashed potato too much as it will turn gluey. You can always add more cheese sauce to correct the texture if neccessary.
