Ingredients

  • 6 cups (1500ml) icing sugar
  • 340 g butter, softened
  • 3/4 cups (190ml) milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

Place all the ingredients in the bowl of an electric mixer. Fold the mixture together gently before turning on the mixer to stop the icing from going everywhere. Turn the mixer on and cream the ingredients together.

To thicken the frosting, add more icing sugar a half a cup at a time. Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract for flavouring.
