Step 1: You will need.
- 210 g self-raising flour
- 100 g ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 100 g butter, room temperature
- 100 g crème fraiche or sour cream
- 50 g emmental cheese, grated
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- half tbsp cumin seeds (queue-min)
- 50 g flour, for dusting
- Wax paper
- 1 Baking tray
- 1 Bowl
- Plastic wrap
- 1 Rolling pin
- 1 Small cutter
- 1 brush
- 1 spoon
Step 2: Preheat the oven.
Begin by preheating the oven to 180 degrees centigrade.
Step 3: Add the ingredients and mix.
Into the mixing bowl add the flour, butter, crème fraiche, ricotta cheese, emmental cheese and the egg. Mix on a low power to combine the ingredients.
Step 4: Allow to chill.
Transfer the combined ingredients from the mixing bowl into a smaller bowl. Cover with a plastic wrap and allow to chill until cold (approximately 15 minutes).

Step 6: Finish the biscuits.
Brush the biscuits with the egg mixture and sprinkle on sesame and/or cumin seeds.
Step 7: Bake.
Place the biscuits into the oven and cook for 15 minutes.
Step 8: Serve.
Remove the biscuits from the oven and serve piping hot - perfect as a light snack!
