Step 1: Fill the pot with water
- 500 g spaghetti
- 200 g sun dried tomatoes plus oil
- 1 tbsp flaked hot chili
- 12 cloves garlic, peeled
- 1 ½ bunches flat leaf parsley, unpicked
- 200 ml olive oil

- 1 chopping board
- 1 knife
- 1 spaghetti spatula
- 1 colander
- 1 wooden spoon
Step 2: Heat the water
Place the pot on a high heat. Add a little olive oil and a pinch of salt. (The olive oil will stop the spaghetti from sticking together).

Slice the garlic into thin pieces and chop very finely.
Step 4: Prepare the parsley
Pick all the parsley leaves from the stalks and roughly chop.
Step 5: Prepare the tomatoes
Chop the sundried tomatoes into small pieces. (Keep the oil to use later).
Step 6: Cook the spaghetti
When the water is boiling, add the spaghetti. Stir and cook for 8 minutes.
Step 7: Drain the spaghetti
Place the colander in the sink and drain in the spaghetti.
Step 8: Make the sauce
Put the pan back onto the heat and add the olive oil, chopped garlic, chili flakes, sundried tomatoes, sundried tomato oil, and the chopped parsley. Stir well.
Step 9: Add the cooked spaghetti and stir
Tip the spaghetti into the pan with the sauce and mix well.
Step 10: Serve
Spoon the spaghetti into a serving bowl. Add some flaked parmesan and season with black pepper. Drizzle over some olive oil and add a sprig of parsley to garnish.

my family enjoyed this ,even me tho im not keen on sundried toms. i timed it so all ingredients were cooking together, drained spag then mixed it straight away with the sauce.delicious !
I also wonder if the garlic needs to be cooked just a bit more? seems like it would taste a better if you cooked it a minute longer.
please show video orf how to make parsley spaghetti chilli
id say use another large pot,2 mins before the spaghetti is ready put the other ingredients into that one, then when the spaghetti is ready drain and mix with the ingredients, whilst turning off the gas as there is enough heat in the pan.
