Ingredients

  • buttercream icing
  • chocolate chips

Method

To make a chocolate buttercream, you can add cocoa powder or melted chocolate chips to buttercream icing.

To melt the chocolate chips, place them in a jug or bowl over a small pot of boiling water and stir until the chocolate chips have melted and formed a smooth paste.

Mix the melted chocolate into the buttercream and stir until fully combined.
