How To Make Cocktail Sauce
Prawn cocktail with a marie rose sauce was a must at any dinner party in the 1970s and 1980s. Paul Mulvenna-Pegrum shows you how to make this retro classic in this great recipe.

Ingredients
- 2 mayonnaise
- 2 creme fraiche
- 1 tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp worcester sauce
- 1 tsp brandy
- hot pepper sauce
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- salt
- black pepper, freshly ground
Method
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Grind fresh black pepper over the top and spoon onto prawns or salads.
