Step 1: You will need

  • 4 cod fillets, or any white fish
  • 220 g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
  • 180 g cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 courgette, cut into thin rounds
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • salt, to taste
  • 1 baking dish
  • 1 bowl
  • 1 spoon

Step 2: Preheat the grill

First, set the grill to two-hundred degrees Celsius.

Step 3: Place cod in dish

Next, put the cod into the baking dish and then add the cherry tomatoes and the courgettes.

Step 4: Prepare the sauce

Now place the crème fraîche and the mustard in a bowl and combine. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Step 5: Add the sauce and sprinkle with cheese

Pour the crème fraîche mixture over the fish, tomatoes and courgette and mix together. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top.

Step 6: Bake in oven

Place it in the oven and bake for twenty minutes under the grill. When the cheese is melted and golden and the fish is no longer opaque it is ready to serve.

Step 7: Serve

Serve the fish together on the plates with the vegetables.
