How To Make Cool Bracelets

Hi, I am Jessica from the London jewellery school and today, I am going to show you how to make some jewellery. Now I am going to show you how to make a bracelet. For this project, you will need some memory wire, some wire cutters, some round nose pliers and a selection of beads to put on your bracelet .

To start with, you are going to take your memory wire and we are going to cut a piece off. It comes in a coil like this, so choose how long you like your bracelet to be and using your memory wire cutters, you are going to push down firmly to make a cut. To secure the end, we are going to make a loop.

Take your round nose pliers. Put the wire in, a little bit down from the top with nothing sticking out the other end and push it round to make your loop. Now you are ready to start putting your beads on.

Thread on your beads one by one and push them all the way down making sure that they are small enough not to fall off the loop. If you have a bead with a big hole, put a smaller bead on first. Simply continue this process until you have filled up your memory wire or until you are happy with the finished piece.

Once you have reached the end of your bracelet, you are going to cut down the memory wire so you have just over a centimeter left. Always cut down into your mat and using your round nose pliers, you are going to make a loop exactly the way you did at the beginning to secure the end and there you have it, your memory wire bracelet.
