How To Make Dog Cupcakes

  • 1 1/4 cups (310ml) self-raising flour
  • 1 1/2 cups (380ml) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cups (250ml) (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups (380ml) sugar
  • 4 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups (380ml) milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • chocolate covered peanut
  • pink fondant
  • edible glitter
  • black decorating gel

Step 1: Add The Buttercream And The Nose

Take a vanilla-based cupcake, pipe on some butter-cream icing. Smooth with a pallet knife. Add a chocolate covered nut to the middle to act the the dog's nose.

Step 2: Make The Eyes And Ears

Use black decorating gel to draw the dog's eyes. Cut out the shape of a dog's ear out of brown icing. Place on the sides of the cupcake next to the dog's eyes.

Step 3: Make The Tongue

Cut the pink fondant into the shape of a tongue. Make a slit down the middle of the pink fondant, place under the nose to act as the tongue. Sprinkle some glitter on top.
