How To Make Dynamite Sushi Rolls
In this video Mike Young from Sushi Magic shows us how to make fiery hot tuna dynamite sushi rolls .
Step 1: Prepare The Rice
Next is Dynamite Roll. We start with a California Roll. This time we will make it with the nori on the outside. When spreading the rice, wet your hands so the rice does not stick to you. Spread the rice all the way out to the edges of the nori and fill in any gaps. The rice should be spread evenly less than a quarter inch thick. Nori on the outside this time so need to fit the rice sheet.
Step 2: Crab Meat Filling
For the crab meat filling, you just use just enough mayonnaise to moisten the crab and bind it together. Too much mayonnaise makes the filling slippery and harder to roll up.
Step 3: Add The Avocado
When cutting avocado, use a blunt table knife to cut one eighth inch thick slices. A blunt knife will slice easily through avocado all the way down to the skin, and then scoop out the slice with the blade. Make sure you fold over and tuck the filling. Remember fold and tuck, fold and tuck. Roll the handles in the direction away from you and simultaneously bring the handles toward you, rolling up the sushi.
Step 4: Spicy Tuna Roll
To make spicy tuna topping, chop some tuna into small pieces, add mayonaise and suracha chilli sauce. You can get this chili sauce at sushimagic.com. Pile the spicy tuna topping on top of the sliced California roll.
Step 5: Add Flavorings
Sprinkle with some black seasme seeds if you wish. I'll show you how to make radish flowers like this one in my intermediate sushi class. The green stems are simply leaves of chive again.
