Do you love smoothies but are not exactly sure how to make them? In this video you will be shown simple steps to create a delicious smoothie that's great for breakfast or any time of day!
I'm going to show you how to make easy smoothies. Now, the best way to start is with a lovely banana. I use dairy free milk, but you can use any milk that you prefer.
We've got here rice milk, and we've also got some hemp milk. These taste really good in smoothies. Now, start really with your base which is really one banana per person, and if you want a really, lovely, big smoothie, then feel free to add a couple of bananas.
Just pop these into the blender. Now, I love to use dairy free yogurt, this one in particular has got healthy bacteria in it as well. So, you can have two good size desert spoonfuls, put that in with your banana as well.
Now, this is a good base, you can leave that as it is or actually you can add your milk in as well. Now, what I usually do is add about half a glass per smoothie that I'm making because once you put in your yogurt and your fruit and obviously this is going to bring it up to a full glass and it says you're using a measuring jug as well. So, we're going to give this a blend.
This is going to be our base for our easy smoothie. Now this is the base for your easy smoothie. Yogurt, soy milk, rice milk, hemp milk, a lovely banana, this could be a fantastic easy smoothie by itself.
However, what we sometimes like to do is to add some hemp seeds. You can add berries. You can even add some coconut milk.
And today for our easy smoothie, we are just going to add in some nice frozen berries, and again frozen berries about a nice handful. And this just makes it even easier because the frozen berries are going to last a long time in your freezer. So, make sure everything is blended.
And it's going to be the most gorgeous, healthy, beautiful colour. And there you go, a wonderful way to start your day, how to make a really easy smoothie. .
