great recipe, minus everything but the eggs, bread, salt and pepper and the butter. STILL TASTED DELICIOUS!

What I did was just whisk some eggs and add a little milk. Then add a small amount of pepper and salt. Get the two pieces of bread and soak up the egg. Heat up a frying pan and just cook the bread a little, if there's a little bit of egg left after you soaked up the bread then pour the left over egg on top of the cooking bread. Put some more pepper and salt. And...ENJOY! MAKE SURE U DON'T BURN THE BREAD!

I havn't made eggy bread for years but used your recipe minus the cream for my 5 year old grandaughter. She loved it! It went down particularly well when I told her it had been Daddy's favourite breakfast - think I may have added another dimension to their breakfasts. Thank you for the recipe which of course can be addapted to individual taste and for the very clear instructions.

there's an easier way to make eggy bread - by just dipping the bread into the egg and fry it! Theres no need for milk, cream, cinnammon!
