- 500 g plain flour
- 10 g salt
- 30 g sugar
- 120 g lard, at room temperature
- 1 ml vanilla essence
- 2 egg yolks
- 170 ml warm milk
Put your flour in a bowl, then make a well in the centre of it.
Pour your egg yolks, warm milk, salt, sugar, vanilla essence and lard into the flour.
Mix everything together with your hand, then knead on a clean surface for about 10-15 minutes.
Let the dough rest for 30-40 minutes.
When you want to use the dough, make it into circles. fill with your filling of choice, then bake for about 15-20 minutes.
