How To Make Fake Blood Without Corn Syrup

I am going to show you how to make fake blood but without corn syrup. Now, corn syrup can be very difficult to get hold of. I actually find that golden syrup works just as well.

It's very easily available everywhere. There you are. It's normal golden syrup.

Now, blood, you think it's red, that's true. So I will be using a red food color. Now, blue, you need a little bit of blue in there just to give it a slightly more maroon effect, that really is the kind of blood you need.

I would say it shows off nice. Now, golden syrup by itself is, of course, very thick. So we can use just a tiny bit of water.

I won't even use all a bit. We need something to mix the lot a bit. So I have got a stirring stick and just a little cup to do it a bit.

But obviously, this can be done in any bowl in your home. So the first thing we need to do, we need to get some of our golden syrup. I find it easier, dip it in, right there and there you are, you got your golden syrup there.

Now, you have to be a little bit delicate. I would say to you it's five to one proportions of color. So mostly red, I will just put a few little drops like that, okay.

You could see in there, you got that red. Just as I said, to make it a little bit more realistic, you just need really really tiny bit of blue on top. I am just going to pour it in to the cap, so I don't overdo it.

So there you are, just one drop, one drop of blue. Now, that's beside, so we will mix that out. And as you can see, it's got that color so far.

But we need to change that consistency, so we are just going to pour a little bit of water in it. Not too much, give that a good stir. Whip it in, didn't take long.

Obviously, sugar proportions, what golden syrup is and water, mix quite nicely so we got this really nice dark blood. It may look a bit too dark here. But when you put it on your skin, you will see, as I am going to show you now, it does quite a realistic effect.
