Serves:
6 to 8
Preparation Time:
10 minutes
Cooking Time:
50 minutes
Total Time:
1 hour

Step 1: You will need

  • 340 g dark chocolate chopped
  • 340 g peanut butter
  • 340 g condensed milk
  • 40 g grated coconut
  • a few liquorice candy pieces
  • 1 saucepan
  • 1 bowl
  • 1 wooden spoon
  • 1 square pan
  • 1 spoon
  • 1 whisk
  • 1 tray

Step 2: Make the fudge

Bring a saucepan 1/2 filled with water to a simmer. Place a stainless steel bowl over the simmering water and add the chopped chocolate and peanut butter. Stir occasionally until the chocolate and peanut butter are fully melted. Add the condensed milk, whisk together and allow it to cool slightly away from the heat.

Step 3: Let the fudge set

Place the fudge on a tray, spreading it evenly. Put it into the fridge for approximately 1/2 hour to chill.

Step 4: Shape the ghosts

When the fudge has had time to set, take a spoonful and roll it in your hands and mould it into the shape of a ghost. Next, roll the ghost in the grated coconut and then place it on a tray. Continue to make more ghosts until all the fudge is used.

You can make any type of scary Halloween shape you desire. Just let your imagination run wild!!

Step 5: Decorate and serve

Make the eyes for your ghosts by inserting the liquorice pieces into their scary heads. Let them sit or a while longer, serve, and enjoy!

isn't it easier if you just put the ghosts in the shaving rather than pour the shaving on the fudge?

This is a delicious and easy to make recipe. I have made with both dark chocolate and semi sweet chocolate. I think I prefer the semi sweet chocolate. I also made these at Christmas without the licorice.
