How To Make Frosting Without Powdered Sugar

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups (380ml) granulated sugar
- 6 egg whites
- salt
Method
Put the sugar, egg whites and salt into a bowl. Heat over a pan of boiling water for approxiamately 7 minutes, until the mixture is thin and gloopy.
Add to the bowl of an electric mixer and whisk on a high speed until cool.
The finished frosting should be of a thick, shaving foam-like consistency.
