Also you can add 1/3 water or milk to a cup of yoghurt, put into blender and it makes a terrific refreshing drink.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

To have a Greek style yogurt start with a Greek yogurt culture. I use the FAGE TOTAL Yogurt, which is imported from Greece for the culture. My yogurt comes out great. An even easier way to make it is to use an electric yogurt maker although you really do not need it. It just makes things easier and you do not have to worry about proper temperatures. Important... all equipment must be sanitized prior to use. Wash and sanitized your hands before you touch any equipment, the cheese cloth etc. &lt;/p&gt;</description>

I have now noticed the other post that says the cooked milk MUST ferment at a very warm temperature overnight (42 to 46C) or it won't coagulate.  It would be nice to have seen that in the instructions first!  What a waste of four cups of milk, not to mention my time.  I will look into buying a yogurt maker rather than mess with this again.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

This recipe worked well for me...I used a good quality Greek yoghurt starter,rain water &amp; I heated the water in a pyrex glass dish on the stove top using a wire trivet under the dish. I used a candy thermometer &amp; added culture when it was 50 degrees c. As it is cold here just now I placed a folded towel in an insulated shopping bag &amp; placed the bowl in with a plate on top. More folded towels on top,closed the zipper &amp; placed on a folded towel with another towel draped over. Five towels in all.
Next morning Voila! Then strained, added honey &amp; Yummo!&lt;/p&gt;</description>
