How To Make Homemade Deep Hair Conditioners

A homemade deep hair conditioner gives your strong and healthy hair and it is very easy to make and can be made easily at home. Try this and you will know the wonders of a deep hair conditioner.

Today, I am going to show you how to make a deep hair conditioner. The ingredients that I have selected are oils, we have rice barn oil which helps penetrate the hair shaft making your hair lovely and soft, and jojoba oil which is very similar to greasy hair, only we have more control over it to make our hair soft and shiny. We are also going to use oat protein and although we could use regular tap water or bottled water, I've got some infused rosemary water here.

Rosemary is an excellent tonic for hair and it makes your hair stronger and shinier, and I am going to team that up with some rosemary essential oils, which will also add a lovely aroma to our conditioner. Because we know that water and oils don't want to blend together, I need an extra ingredient called emulsified wax which will help combine the ingredients and turn them into a rich, deep conditioning cream. To make our conditioner, we need to warm the oils and warm the water.

So, first of all, I am going to weigh the water, into our pot here, we need 80 grams of rosemary water, 83, that will do and then, in the other jug, I am putting the oils and the wax. The jojoba oil is going to be the largest part of our conditioner after the water, so I am using 20 grams of jojoba oil and then 5 or 6 grams of rice barn oil, 6 grams, and emulsified wax goes in and I am putting 10 grams and that will make sure that the water and the oil bind together and stay together. Put that on to the heat, and allow the water to warm up while the wax is melting.

So, I can see that our wax has melted and our water has warmed, too. So, now, we are going to put one into the other to get them blended. If I pour the melted wax and oils into my water and don't stir, then it will go wrong and you can probably see that the two ingredients are trying to split out from each other.

We now have an oily layer at the top and a milky layer at the bottom. So, we have to make sure that you give it a good stir, at least for the next 2 minutes, to make sure that the ingredients combine and hold. While I am stirring it, I will be helping it to cool down which will help it sticking up a little bit.

I have been stirring it for about 7 minutes and it's thickened up a little and it's the perfect consistency now for my conditioner. Although we use rosemary water, I am going to boost the power of the rosemary, by adding a little of rosemary essential oil. Rosemary will give my hair a good shine and just help make this an even better conditioner.

Now, this does not have any preservatives in it and so I would say that the shelf life for this is 6-8 weeks, if I keep it in a cool bathroom and I know that I will easily use this within 6-8 weeks. And that's how you make a deep hair conditioner. .
