Ingredients
- 2 small pieces of mint
- 4 cups (1000ml) sweet black tea
Step 1: Brewing The Tea
It's traditional with iced tea to use twice as much tea as with a normal tea. This is to make sure to bring out the natural sweetness of the tea, and it is brewed for longer to ensure it's not too strong - brewing it for longer encourages the tea to calm and soften, somewhat eliminating the strength of the tea. Leave the large portion of tea to brew in cold water for at least 4 to 5 hours, preferably over night to make absolute sure it is brewed, sweetened, and weakened sufficiently.
Step 2: Preparing The Black Iced Tea
Having an appropriately sized drinking glass nearby filled about 1/3 the way with ice cubes, you now pour the brewed black tea into this glass, serving the perfect black iced tea accompanied with natural sweetness.
