And I'm going to show you how to make your own products, and all very easily, and all in the comfort of your own home. I'm going to show you how to make homemade lavender oil. Now, it's a basic recipe made from easy to find, organic, vegan-y ingredients, which you can get from your garden shop, and health shop.

And all you need is half a cup of olive oil, some lavender, a glass jar to make the product, and a glass jar for storage. Now, it's best to harvest the lavender in the morning, because that's when it's at its peak, and the oils are at the strongest. So if you pick the leaves and plants, and then fill the glass jar with them, and once filled, crush the lavender down to help start releasing the oils.

Lavender's really lovely, because it has very calming, relaxing and cleansing properties. Then fill the jar with the olive oil. The olive oil works as a carrier oil, and it's very moisturizing and it has good anti-oxidant properties, too.

Then shut the jar, and shake. Now, the next step is actually going to depend on the weather, because if it's really hot sun, you can leave the jar in the sun for two days, shaking every twelve hours. But for other times of the year, leave the jar out for a month, shaking every day.

And after this period, you just strain the oil off using a tea strainer. And there you have your lavender oil, and it can be used directly on skin, or in the bath. .
