How To Make Leftover Turkey And Stuffing Casserole
- Serves:
- 4 to 6
- Preparation Time:
- 15 minutes
- Cooking Time:
- 45 minutes
- Total Time:
- 1 hour
- Oven Temperature:
- 180° c - 360° f
Step 1: You will need
- 400 g leftover stuffing
- 350 g leftover turkey
- 6 tbsp leftover gravy
- 1 egg, beaten
- 100 ml cream
- salt and pepper
- 1 bowl
- 1 whisk
- 1 oven-proof dish
- 1 spoon
Step 2: Preheat the oven
Set the temperature of the oven to 180°C (350ºF/ gas mark 4).
Step 3: Combine wet ingredients
To the mixing bowl, add the gravy, cream, and egg. Season with salt and pepper and mix together with a whisk.
Step 4: Build and bake the casserole
To the oven-proof dish, add the stuffing. Press it down so that it forms a uniform base for the casserole. Next, spread the turkey evenly over the stuffing and top it all with the gravy/cream sauce. Place it in the oven for about 35 minutes.
Step 5: Serve
Remove the casserole from the oven and garnish it with some thyme. It tastes best if you let it cool a bit before serving.

Tips & Comments
Brill! especially breadcrumbs on top (with a little butter)
Add shredded cheese. Yum. You could also reserve some of the stuffing, sprinkle on top before it hits the oven (buttering helps) for a toasty topping.
