How To Make Lemon Vodka
Fruit oils and flavors are an essential ingredient in cocktails. Lemon, in particular, is used in a number of different martinis. Follow this recipe to see how to make lemon infused vodka for use in your cocktails.

- 1 lemon
- vodka
Method
Remove some skin from your lemon. You can do this by either using a canelle knife, or zester, or using a regular knife. If you use a regular knife you will also have to cut the pith from your lemon strips.
Put the strips in a glass and fill up with vodka. You will need to leave this for about 2 weeks for the oils from the lemon skin to infuse the vodka.
This vodka can be used to add a twist to martinis and other vodka cocktails.
