How To Make Low-Fat Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients
- 120 g baking margarine
- 1 1/2 cups (380ml) icing sugar
- 2 vanilla essence
Method
Make sure you use baking margarine rather than normal spreading margarine. Spreading margarine will make your frosting gloopy and too wet to spread.
Put all the ingredients into the mixing bowl of an electric mixer and blend on high speed until mixed. Smooth down the sides of the bowl with a spatula to ensure that the buttercream is evenly blended.
