Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups (120ml) onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 4 red wine
  • 1 cups (250ml) tinned tomatoes
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • olive oil

Method

Heat a little oil in a pan and add the onions. Fry for 30 seconds, then add the garlic.

Add the red wine to deglaze the pan, which will stop the onions from burning.

Add the tomatoes and cook down until the texture has thickened.
Remove from the heat and mix in the chopped parsley.
