How To Make Miis On Wii

Hello, I'm Rene Millman and I'm the editor of Absolute Gadget, the gaming and gadget news website. Today I'm going to be talking to you about how to get the most out of your Wii console. In this video, we're going to be showing you how to make Mii's on the Wii.

Now, the Mii is a little character, which you can play in various games, which can look a lot like you or maybe look like somebody you like. In this video, we show you how to make a Mii on a Wii that looks like me. So, here's the Mii plaza, already you can see a couple of Mii's here, but I haven't got one that looks like me, so if you just come over here and point the Wii remote and press A on where it says "New Mii", it will cut to another screen where you select a gender.

I'm male, so I am going to pick that one and I'm going to start from scratch just to show you all the options here. As you can see, you do actually start with a basic Mii and you can choose on this particular, we've got lots of options here for various facial characteristics. But we're on the face, so I'm going to choose a face, I think I've got a kind of oval face, so I'm going to try that one there.

I'm going to move that pointer to be a bit taller. I can choose different hair-styles, there's six pages here that I can flip back and forth. Now, the next option here is the eyes themselves, you've got another four pages you can flip through there.

I don't want to move them too far down because I end up looking a bit strange. That's about right. Make them bigger, make them smaller.

You can invert there or make them close together or move them far apart. Nice smile, nice smile. If you have lips, you can choose different colors.

I think I might just go for the smiling face there. There's one last option here. You can put in your nickname.

So, we can just write in R - E - N - E and okay that. I can make that a favorite if I want to and I can put my birthday there if I want. I won't do that, I don't want to tell you what my birthday is.

If I want to see what mingle means, you can travel to other Mii consoles and join other Mii Parades. So, I'm going to pick mingle because I'm quite a sociable kind of guy and last but not least is Mii creator. So, I'm going to choose re-enter and type my name in R - E - N - E and okay that.

I think I'm quite happy with that I think, so I'm going to press quit and save and quit. I'm saving it and there I am. There's my Wii created, looking a little bit like me. .
