How To Make Mozzarella Salad With Broad Beans

Step : You will need…
- 200 g buffalo mozzarella
- 200 g broad beans
- 4 radishes, thinly sliced
- 1 fennel bulb, thinly sliced
- 1 handful of rocket
- 2 tbsp raisins, soaked in water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 saucepan
- 1 bowl of iced water
- 1 chopping board
- 1 knife
- 1 fork
- 2 bowls
- 1 large spoon
- 1 slotted spoon
Step 1: Prepare the broad beans
Cook the broad beans in salted, boiling water for twenty seconds. Using a slotted spoon, transfer them to a bowl of iced water. Let them cool for one minute to help loosen the skins.
Step 2: Peel broad beans
Tear a small hole in the end of the skin and squeeze the bean out. Repeat until all beans are peeled.
Step 3: Slice mozzarella
Thickly slice the mozzarella and arrange it on a plate.
Step 4: Make the salad
Into a bowl add the radishes, fennel, rocket, broad beans, and the drained raisins.
Step 5: Make the dressing
Pour the olive oil and balsamic vinegar into a bowl and mix well.
Step 6: Dress the salad
Pour the dressing over the salad. Season with salt & pepper and mix again.
Step 7: Top the mozzarella with the salad and serve
Finally, arrange the salad on top of the mozzarella and serve immediately.
