How To Make Natural Hair Oil
Why put harmful chemicals into your hair when you can make your own natural hair oil right at home? Using simple natural oil such as jojoba oil and sweet almond oil, you will be able to make your own hair oil for healthy, beautiful hair.
I am going to show you how to make a natural hair oil. It's a very simple recipe. I have a selection of oils that are suitable for my hair and some essential oils.
The oils I have chosen today are jojoba oil, which is very similar to your skin serum and your own hair oil. Your skin loves this and it will want to soak it in. We have sweet almond oil, which is very nourishing and then I've picked coconut oil, the liquid version, fractionated coconut oil, which will hydrate and add a lovely shine to my hair.
On their own, these oils would be absolutely fine but I've chosen a little essential oil of rosemary to put in to add a little bit of nourishment to my hair. I'm putting it in a metal bottle and I'm putting it in a metal bottle for a reason. First of all, I am just going to get my ingredients into the bottle.
I am putting in 20 jojoba oil but you can add more than 20 or less than 20. I am putting in 20 coconut oil, and again, how much you put in really is up to you. A little bit of a mess there but we can wipe that up.
And then finally with the oils, I am topping it off with sweet almond oil and I can get about 10 into this bottle. I only need 3 or 4 drops of the rosemary oil to make a difference. It will give the oil a pleasant smell but it will help my hair shiny.
I will put the lid on and give this a shake to make sure it is all mixed up. Now, the reason this is in a metal bottle is that when I use this as a treatment, I want to put a little bit of oil on my hands, rub it into my hands, and then rub it through my hair. I leave it on my hair for 15 minutes before washing it off with shampoo and conditioning as normal.
But if I use hot oil, it actually makes the treatment more effective and to get a hot oil, all I need to do is stand this bottle in a jug of hot water for no more than 2 minutes. Shake it around and then when I pour the oil out, the oil will be warm and more effective on my hair. I used sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, and coconut oil but any oil will do.
It is that easy to make a natural hair oil. .
