How To Make Non-Alcoholic Cocktails

Sometimes, you might not want an alcohol, but a cocktail might still be nice. In this video, a bartender explains how to make some non-alcoholic cocktails.

Now, I'm going to show you some non-alcoholic drink recipes. I'm going to start with a Virgin Bloody Mary. This, of course, is a Bloody Mary without the alcohol.

A basic tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce which is used for cooking, put it on your cheese and toast and your spaghetti Bolognese, Tabasco used for spices, of course, lemon juice, salt, pepper and a celery stick. Firstly, I'm going to chill our glass. Once again, always use crushed ice as it melts a lot less quicker.

Then, we're going to take our Boston shaker, and now, we add our ingredients. First, our tomato juice, there's the Worcestershire sauce, about 6 or 7 drops of this, Tabasco, depending on how spicy you like it. For now, we're going to do it medium which is 1 or 2.

And of course, a dash of lemon juice, a little bit of salt, a little bit of pepper which we will be using later on as well at the end of the drink. Next, we're going to add our ice. This is where we simply transfer from one glass to the other.

A lovely celery stick and the pepper, which we used previously, simply add to the top. In an alcoholic Bloody Mary, you would put a little bit of red wine at the top to see the red wine bleed, and some horseradish as well. But as this is a virgin one, it's just slightly different, and there we have a lovely Virgin Mary.

And the second non-alcoholic drink I'm going to show you is a variation of a Virgin Mai Tai. Just 5 simple ingredients - orange and pineapple juice, grenadine orgeat which are French syrups, and a dash of lemon juice. I'm going to add approximately 50 mils of orange juice, 50 mils of pineapple juice, a touch of grenadine, as this is very sweet, a good touch of orgeat, which is an almond syrup.

This is almost a non-alcoholic amaretto. Add some cubed ice and just simply strain into the glass and there we go. .
