How To Make Orange, Beetroot & Goat Cheese Salad

Step 1: Prepare the watercress
- 250 g watercress
- 3 precooked beetroots
- salt & freshly ground black pepper
- 200 g precooked green beans
- 3 oranges, peeled and sliced into rounds
- 120 g goats cheese, cut into small pieces
- 120 ml olive oil
- 2 tbsp red wine or balsamic vinegar
- 1 sharp knife
- 1 chopping board
- 1 small bowl
- 1 whisk
- 1 spoon
Step 2: Prepare the beetroot
Cut each beetroot into six or eight wedges (depending on its size) and set aside for later.
Step 3: Prepare the green beans
Next, cut the green beans in half and then slice them lengthways. Set them aside for later.
Step 4: Make the dressing
Mix together the olive oil and the balsamic vinegar in a bowl. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper and then whisk together.
Step 5: Serve
First, lay a strip of the orange rounds and then add some of the green beans. Lay down the beetroot wedges and add a handful of the watercress leaves. Next, place the goats cheese on top. Finally, drizzle the dressing over everything and serve.
