How To Make Panang Curry
Have the thai food experience by making your own panang beef curry! In this video, chef Geoff Redfearn teaches a recipe of a Thai dish, panang beef curry. You'll see what should be added and how long to cook it for, along with little tips on checking the heat of a wok.

Ingredients
- 200 ml coconut milk
- 100 ml water
- fish sauce
- 250 g beef topside
- 1 tsp rapeseed oil
- 4 tsp red curry paste
Step 1: Slicing the beef
Put beef in a freezer for 40 minutes. Take out beef, slice across the grain in thin slices. Heat the wok, add 1 tsp rapeseed oil and then add the beef.
Step 2: Making the curry
Add 4 tsp red curry paste to wok and make sure beef is coated with curry paste.
Add 200ml coconut milk and add 100ml of water, bring to boil, simmer for 2 minutes.
Step 3: Sampling the curry
Taste for saltyness and add fish sauce for more flavor. Serve.
