How To Make Peach Melba

Step 1: You will need …

  • 250 g fresh raspberries
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 peaches, sliced
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1 handful almonds (optional)
  • 1 sieve
  • 2 bowls
  • 1 spoon

Step 2: Combine the ingredients

Put the raspberries into a large bowl. Add the sugar and lemon juice and mix together well.

Step 3: Make the raspberry puree

Place the sieve over a small bowl and pour in the raspberries and sugar mix. Using the back of a spoon, crush the raspberries to create a puree sauce in the bowl below.

Step 4: Garnish and present

Spoon the peach slices into a serving bowl. Follow with one scoop of ice cream and drizzle over some of the raspberry puree. Finally sprinkle over some of the almonds. Repeat to make four servings.

Step 5: Serve

The peach melba is now ready to serve.
