How To Make Pear Puree
Step 1: Prepare
- 6 medium pears
- ½ small lemon, juiced
- sugar to taste
Step 2: Poach
Put the quarters into a saucepan and cover with water. Add the lemon juice, and a little sugar if neccessary. Bring the water to simmering point and poach for around 5 minutes or until the fruit is soft.
Step 3: Puree
Leave the pears to cool in the syrup. When they're cool enough to handle, puree them in a food processor or with a hand-held blender.
