How To Make Pigs In A Blanket
How can you improve on sausages? Wrap them in bacon! Chef Paul Ellis shares his recipe for pigs in blankets. These delicious treats are prefect for your Christmas dinner, or for any other occasion.

Ingredients
- pork sausages
- streaky bacon
Method
Squeeze your sausages in the centre, then twist the two halves and cut them apart. You now have two mini sausages.
Cut a piece of streaky bacon in half and roll it around your mini sausage.
You can roll your sausages in some herbs, honey or maple syrup before rolling them in the bacon if you want to add extra flavours.
Place the pigs in blankets into a tray and roll in a little oil, then roast at 175 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes.
