You'll see that slime doesn't necessarily have to look gross when it's pink. There are two options to making pink slime but either way, it's still fun and slimy.
Right, now I'm going to show you how to make pink slime. I'm actually going to show you two alternatives or methods to doing this and I'll get to that in a moment. Now, our first ingredient is going to be PVA glue.
Then, we're going to use some water, borax powder. It's available in chemists'. I've mixed it actually with some water in a bottle here and now, we're going to show you one method using a tiny bit of red food colour and another method actually with just a juice of beetroot which also gives you a lovely pink colour.
So, first things first, we're going to put some water into the PVA glue, about half-half is good. The more slimy you want it, the more water you put in. If you want it a bit thicker, you put in less or leave it out completely.
So, we'll start quickly with the food colouring one. Now, you really only need a tiny amount so I'm using this kebab skewer just to dip in to the colour and then give it a mix so we've got quite a nice pink there. And the second method is to use beetroot juice.
Now, I've taken this out just from a pack of beetroot. We mix that in and it just gives you a slightly different shade of pink, a slightly darker one, but it gives you a nice idea. If we compare the two, this is the food colouring.
Right, now, it doesn't matter which colour method you use, we add our borax and we give it a good stir. Now as you can see, all that liquid is being absorbed into this slime and once you got to this stage, you know you're ready. And then, the same with the beetroot slime, it doesn't take long, give it a stir.
Again, as you can see, all that liquid's been absorbed and here we are, two different pink slimes. .
