How To Make Ponytails
A ponytail is probably the most common and most versatile of all hairstyles. You can just pull your hair up to a ponytail on the go or wear it really tight and polished. But here's a take on how to make ponytails.
Today, I'm going to show you how to make a ponytail. First of all, you need a Mason and Pearson brush. I'm going to use a larger brush today and I just want to get all the hair into my ponytail really smoothly.
We've got a fringe in the hair. We're not going to get that into the ponytail, so I'm going to leave that piece out. Make sure from the crown down, it's really smooth as well, and over the ears and a little underneath.
And I'm going to use my favourite hair band with two hooks on the end. So, you hook in one side and literally just twist this hair band around the hair until it's nice and firm and then you hook through the other end. There, a nice finishing touch with the ponytail is if we grab a strand of hair from underneath, about a centimetre thickness, and you twist that around the band so you can't see the band and then you can just grip that into the scalp and create a more polished look into your ponytail, and just one more grip underneath.
For a really smooth ponytail, we're just going to brush that through, add some serum and there you have your ponytail and covering the band at the same time. .
