Ingredients

  • sesame oil
  • vegetable oil
  • pork shoulder, chopped
  • shallots, chopped
  • red chili, chopped
  • garlic, chopped
  • spring onion, chopped
  • basmati rice, cooked and refreshed
  • soy sauce
  • nasi goreng paste
  • 1 egg

Method

To refresh the rice, run it under some cold water.

Heat a good amount of sesame oil and a splash of vegetable oil to a large, preheated wok. Add the chopped pork and shallots. Fry for a couple of minutes and add the red chili and garlic and the chopped spring onion. Make sure the pan is still well oiled and the pork is cooked.

Add the cooked basmati rice and stir through. Add the nasi goreng paste. Crack the egg into the pan and stir through to cook. Add the peas and stir until these are cooked.

Add soy sauce to taste and serve.
