How To Make Ranch Dressing

I am going to show you how to make a staple of the American pantry which is a ranch dressing. Now, I have got some mayonnaise here, quite yellowy, mainly because we use here very lovely eggs. I am going to start off with that in the base of my bowl, I am going to pour all of that in there, what we probably do, and then we're going to loosen it up with a little bit of butter milk which is also the main stay of this dressing.

Any ranch dressing that doesn't have buttermilk in - I don't think it is authentic. And I have just put in some lemon juice. And if you look at the texture, that's what we are looking for.

Dressing is all about texture. I am now going to put some mustard powder in and I have got some paprika as well. It's really going to set the whole thing alive.

I am really going to give those a good whole mix now. I really smell the paprika. Now, I am going to finish this off, if you actually look at the texture, I am actually quite happy with that.

You know, it is a lovely fine dressing. I am now going to put the herbs in, so I have got some chives, those can go in, some chopped parsley, and some chopped dill. Keep mixing that up, traditionally, you know it might go with a salad, you can have it with chicken wings, burgers, it's something that you know you almost serve with any serving dish.

I am going to serve it out with little bit of crude to tray now. And that's how to make a perfect ranch dressing. .
