How To Make Raw Soup

In this guide, raw food chef and founder of Shine On Raw Rebecca Kane shows you how to make raw mushroom soup.

You Will Need

  • 2 cups (500ml) cashews
  • 1 1/2 cups (380ml) water
  • 1 1/2 tamari
  • 2 portabello mushrooms
  • salt to taste
  • blender

Method

Pour the water into the blender and add the cashews, mushrooms, tamari and salt and blend until smooth and creamy. This makes quite a thick soup, if you'd like something thinner, add more water.

Once blended, pour into a bowl and serve. If you'd like a warm soup, use warm water, leave in the blender a little longer or simply warm your serving bowl.
