How To Make Roasted Cashew Nuts
Charlotte Jarman from Liberation Foods shows you how to roast your own salted cashews. Roasting your own cashews is fun and results in a much tastier cashew than the store bought variety.

Ingredients
- 2 sea salt
- 2 ltr water
- 300 g cashew nuts
Step 1: Boil the Cashews
Bring 2 litres of water to the boil, add 2 tbsp of sea salt. Add 300g Fair Trade cashew nuts to the water. Wait 1 or 2 minutes until the cashews float to the surface of the water. Drain the cashews and tip them into a baking tray.
Step 2: Roast the Cashews
Cook at 180C for 30 minutes, stir, and return to the oven for another 30 minutes. Store in an airtight container.
