Ingredients

  • 25 g flour
  • 25 g butter
  • 6 pork and apple sausages
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 medium white onion
  • 1 stick celery
  • 1 bramley apple
  • 500 ml cider
  • 3 sage leaves
  • 25 ml single cream

Step 1: Cooking the apple

Take out the core of the apple and cook it on a pan though it is optional to put in the oven.

Step 2: Heating the butter

Pre heat the pan. Apple pieces should be cut into thicker slices. Add some butter to the hot pan, take some flour and lightly flour each of the sausages and stir them in the butter.

Step 3: Sealing the sausages

Seal sausages by making the roll shape thick. Lift sausages so they're just slightly sealed into the cooking pot. Add all vegetables and apples into the pan. Give light sealing. Take caution not to burn butter and flour.

Step 4: Adding cream to hot pot

Finish this with little cream which enriches the dish. For great results, make sure all vegetables are roughly the same size as irregular size could burn them. Add cider, it will boil the flour and butter will combine and thicken.

Step 5: Boiling the Hot Pot

Add Pepper. Add pinch of salt, for flavour some fresh sage. Wash sage and add them to the stew. Bring it to boil, regulate the gas so it simmers. Add more salt and more pepper later. The sausages are now ready. Add drop of cream and finish with a bit of brown pepper. A little more salt and put it into your bowl. Add little green from parsnip. Serve.
