Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this amazingly simple and basic guide to making a sesame dressing Japanese style. Atsuko, Japanese cooking expert, shows you how to make a Japanese traditional salad called Guam Ae, a salad recipe of green beans or any vegetable with sesame dressing.

Ingredients
- 1 tsp salt
- 10 Japanese green beans
- 3 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1/2 tsp brown sugar
Step 1: Prepare The Ingredients
Bring some water in a saucepan and bring to heat. Add a pinch of salt to the water and boil the green beans for about three minutes.
Step 2: Grind The Sesame Seeds
Using your Japanese grinder and bowl, grind the sesame seeds.
Step 3: Let The Green Beans Rest
Take the beans out of the water now and place them in cold water.
Step 4: Prepare The Dressing
To the ground sesame seeds, add the dark soy sauce, the mirin, the brown sugar, and then give this compound a stir.
Step 5: Slice Green Beans
Slice the green beans into pieces. Place these into a salad serving bowl, and then drizzle the dressing on top, and serve.
