Ingredients

  • 1 cups (250ml) icing sugar
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • orange zest (optional)
  • lemon zest (optional)
  • vanilla pod (optional)

Method

Mix together the sugar, bicarbonate of soda and cream of tartar.

You can either use the sherbet as it is, or you can add a little lemon or orange zest, or some seeds from a vanilla pod.

You can use the sherbet as a dip for liquorice sticks or lollipops, or as a dusting for any dessert.
