Hi, I am Jessica from the London Jewellery School and today, I am going to show you, how to make some jewellery. We need for this project four pieces of threads in different colours, some scissors and some sticky tape. First, you're going to take your four pieces of threads.

These ones, I already cut down to size and you want them to be approximately half a metre long. Take them in the end and tie a knot, joining them together. Make sure, your knot is nice and tight.

Next, you are going to take some sticky tape and just tape the end on a table or work surface. Now you want to lay out your four pieces of thread in the order, they naturally fall in and make sure, they are not tangled at the bottom before you start. We are using four pieces for this project, which is a good number to start with, but you can use as many as you like.

You are going to take your first piece, hold it around your finger, take the second piece, cross it over and under and out and pull it through, to do your first knot. Repeat the process again and do your second knot. Pull your knots nice and tight.

We are going to take that white piece and lay that over at the side. Repeat the same process with the next thread, always doing two knots at the time. Once you are finished with the pink one, put that over next to the white one and move on to the red.

Do exactly the same again, two knot When you come to the end, you start the process again. This time, the white one is first. And I am going to do two knots.

First with the pink, then with the red and then with the blue. You carry on in this way and you will see your bracelet getting longer and longer, until you are happy with the length of it. So, after a little while, this is what your friendship bracelet should look like, once you carried on with all your knots and once you have got it to the length that you want it to be, you can take off your sticky tape and take it off from the table and just to secure the end, we are going to tie a knot with all your threads in.

Pull that knot nice and tight. Then, I am going to cut down the excess strings at this end and you can put it around your wrist and tie a double knot. And there you have your finished friendship bracelet.
