How To Make Snickerdoodles

Today, I am going to show you an American classic called Snickerdoodles. The first thing you are going to do is add in butter, eggs, and sugar, and cream them together. When you're using sugar in American recipes, it's important to remember to use granulated sugar and not caster sugar.

Once the mixture has been creamed together, you add in flour, bicarbonate of soda, and salt. Bicarbonate of soda is also known as baking soda. It's quite a sticky mixture.

Now, just put some cinnamon sugar on a plate. This is the third step. You just need to take a dough ball, roll it in the cinnamon sugar to give it a nice coating.

This is what gives the flavour to the cookie. Then, put this on your baking sheet. I'm going to put these in the oven now for about ten minutes.
