How To Make Spiced Carrots With Crème Fraiche

Step 1: Cut the carrots
- 450 g carrots, peeled
- salt and pepper
- 15 g butter
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 4 tbsp crème fraiche
- 2 tsp chopped coriander
- 2 tsp chopped fresh mint
- 1 frying pan
- 1 chopping board
- 1 sharp knife
- 1 saucepan
- 1 slotted spoon
- 1 tray
- 1 spoon
Step 2: Boil the carrots
Put the carrots in a saucepan. Cover with water and add a pinch of salt. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes until they are semi-soft. Drain and set aside.
Step 3: Melt the butter
Melt the butter in the frying pan and add the carrots.
Step 4: Add spice
Add the cumin and heat gently for 2 minutes.
Step 5: Add crème fraiche
Stir in the crème fraiche.
Step 6: Season and serve
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve sprinkled with the chopped mint and coriander.
